A safari is a Life-Changing Experience,

We’ve got Yours.

“Imagine this: the moment your plane touches down in Arusha, the same warm smile that greeted you in your very first email is waiting at arrivals. That’s Adam—our owner, your private guide, and the friend you haven’t met yet. For 30 years he’s been chasing sunrises over the Serengeti, whispering secrets to leopards in the Crater, and learning every traveler’s heartbeat.

This isn’t just a safari; it’s your safari. From the second you step off the tarmac to the tearful hug goodbye, Adam is with you—curating every game drive, every campfire story, every breath-taking encounter tailored just for you.

No strangers, no checklists, no rush. Just one passionate soul who knows Tanzania like his childhood backyard…and can’t wait to show you home.”

Real Stories From Fellow Travelers

"Epic Safaris Timeless Tales!"

“Adam was remarkable from the first minute he greeted me at the airstrip until our final good-bye at the airport. He is an incredible man and guide. He truly loves what he does and wants to share his country, people and animals with you, for you to enjoy and understand their way of life. You won't be disappointed with your trip. First class company.”

“I am an amateur photographer and Adam's ability to anticipate, read and interpret a setting gave us great insights into the behavior and traits of the animals, and, thousands of great photos. He does not rely on the CB radios other safari companies are using to find animals. We saw ALL the animals including a short glimpse of a rare Black Rhino.”

“Adam really worked hard to make sure our experience was perfect and that we saw as much as possible. His expertise on all aspects of the safari experience was truly impressive and we learned so much about the wildlife, plants, insects and environment. We asked a lot of questions and enjoyed quite a few interesting discussions about Tanzanian history and politics.”

“We took a (pretty last minute) boys trip to Tanzania to go on safari with Adam and Msafiri at Top Nature. These guys handle everything so we were able to kick back and enjoy this wonderfully curated 8-day journey through the savannah.”

“It is our great pleasure to recommend Adam Meshallu as a Safari guide and his company Top Nature Tanzania Safaris. We recently completed a 2 week safari and had a wonderful time! Adam was amazing with his knowledge of all the wildlife and was able to get us very close to all the Big 5 and many other animals as well.”

Safari Planning FAQs

Because the migration is a continuous, year-round loop driven by rainfall, where you need to be depends entirely on the month. The iconic river crossings (over the Mara and Grumeti rivers) usually happen from July to October in the Northern Serengeti. If travelers want to see the calving season—where thousands of wildebeest are born daily—they should visit the Southern plains between January and March.

It depends on budget and time:

  • Driving (Drive-in): Usually starts from Arusha, stopping at the Ngorongoro Crater or Lake Manyara along the way. It takes about 7 to 8 hours to reach the Serengeti directly, but it is highly scenic and cost-effective for groups.
  • Flying (Fly-in): Travelers can fly directly from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to airstrips inside the park (like Seronera or Kogatende) in under 2 hours. It saves massive amounts of travel time but increases the overall itinerary cost.
  • Luxury Lodges: These are permanent structures built from stone and wood, featuring solid walls, traditional hotel amenities, expansive main buildings, and often infinity pools overlooking the plains.
  • Luxury Tented Camps: These are large, canvas structures built on raised wooden platforms. Don't let the word "tent" fool clients—they feature king-sized beds, running hot water, flush toilets, and polished wood floors. They offer a much more immersive "in the wild" experience where you can hear the sounds of the bush at night.

The two major considerations for Tanzania are:

  • Malaria: The Serengeti is a malaria-risk zone, so travelers are highly advised to take prescription anti-malarial prophylactics and apply insect repellent containing DEET.
  • Yellow Fever: A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory if entering Tanzania from a country with risk of yellow fever transmission (including layovers lasting longer than 12 hours).

Light, breathable clothing in neutral tones (khaki, olive, beige, brown) is essential to blend in with the environment and avoid attracting insects (bright blue and black attract tsetse flies).

More importantly, if travelers are taking domestic bush planes between camps, they are strictly limited to 15 kg (33 lbs) of luggage, and it must be packed in soft-sided duffel bags because hard suitcases cannot fit into the small aircraft cargo holds.
